Entry Fees

$55 per rider per event
$40 per rider per event in the Young Guns School Category

Late entry fee of $65 kicks in at 9pm on the Friday evening, a week prior to each event.
Online entry closes 5pm on Wednesday evening prior to the event, or earlier if field limit is reached.
Field Limit of 400 riders.

There are no on day entries.

MTBA Licence required. No licence = No ride
You can purchase an annual MTBA licence through the Full Gas Peddlers Club for $100 (includes $10 club fee).
Or,day licences areavailable @ $15 per event or $60 for the series, payable during online entry.


Categories

A unique ProTeam format where teams of two will fight it out for the $3000 prize pool at each round, all the while accumulating points toward the overall series honours.
Prizes for Pro Male and Pro Female Categories*
1st Place $750
2nd Place $500
3rd Place $250

Podium placegetters for all other categories below will receive product prizes.

The Threesomes category for teams up to three riders, very loosely based on 3 people that work together and want to play together, but if you don't all work together, that's ok, you can still play together @ the Chase the Sun Mountain Bike Series
Husband & Wife* Teams for those who can't get enough of each other and love getting down and dirty MTBing together. No marriage certificates needed!
For those of you who are Just Good Friends, we have a category for you as well! Two men or two women will get you into this one. No questions asked.
The Gene Pool*Fathers or Mothers& Sons or Daughters -if you share genes this category is for you.
The Young Guns category is for secondary school teams of three riders.
Of course where would we be if we didn't give the
Male and Female Solos, Solo Males & Females 40 plus and Solo Males 50 plus years, a platform to prove just how hard they are?

* In the Husband and Wife teams, the female rider must completed at least 30% of the total laps (unless mechanical/injuries etc)
*In the Gene Pool teams, the child must be under 18.
*Qualification for Pro Pairs is subject to race promoter's discretion 
To be eligible for Series Awards you must complete at least 3 Rounds.
