KONA DIRT CRITS
We recently held the 250th KONA Dirt Crit!! Wowzers!
Thanks to all those who have been a part of the crits over the last five years and to all the bike shops (especially Kaos, Grand Prix, iRide, BSC and My Mountain) that have supported the dirt crits over the 250 events.
Special thanks to our sponsors KONA and Mavic who have been behind the KONA Dirt Crits when it was just a crazy idea inside Snozza’s head.
We are currently working with Parks Victoria for some new trails at Westgate Park. Plans are currently underway and a working bee will be announced in the very near future.

Many people have been asking, “No tent pegs? So how will I stop my tent from blowing away?”
Here are some ideas…
- - Tie each corner of the tent to a large water container
- - Attach to an esky full of powerade
- - sandbags (yes, there is a beach only 50m away! Just return the sand at the end of the day)
- - tie it to grandma, she is going to be sitting down all day anyway
Every participant will receive, a TORQ token (to exchange for a bar or gel on event day), a CARMEN's muesli bar, a SRAM powerlink, a bottle of PEDROS Lube, a copy of Australian Men's Fitness, and a fun filled day of riding!!!
Reminder:
Enter by Tues to avoid the late entry fee. Online entries close 9pm Thursday. No on the day entries.
Registration is at the Dirt Crits on Thurs night (if you have entered online prior to Tues) or at Trailmix on Fri or Sat.
If you cannot make any of these times please email

Latest News
The TORQ team will be out in full force for this round of Chase the Sun. Expect to see some fast times from the TORQ crew, many of whom are fresh back from competing in Europe. They are the orange blur that you see fly past on the track!
TORQ riders, Luke and Robbie collected the $750 for coming first in Round 1, who will take it out this time?? The Felt team are back, as are the Giant guys, so it should be another close fight for the podium cash in the Pro Male Pairs.
In the Male ‘Just Good Friends’ category, the Procon team will be in QLD racing their motorbikes, so who will take on the Goombahs?? The ‘Pommie Leighs’ featuring Brett (Male Pair champs from the ‘08 series) will be out there, as will ‘BBC 2’, Paul Davis and Drew Blatchford.
